 AL Dhafra played a tough match against Aljazeera today evening Friday December 21 within the 7th round of the Arabian Gulf Cup in Hamdan Bin zayed stadium in AL Dhafra area. AL Dhafra coach lined up his team as following: Khalid Alsennani, Abdullah Alhammadi, Abdulrahman Yousuf, and Amine Attochi, Romulo des Santos, Nicolas Milesi, Diego Rigonato, Suhail Alharbi, Shueib Alharbi, Khalaf Alhosani and Abdullah Alrefaey. The first half started with AL Dhafra superiority who controlled the first minutes of the first half while Aljazeera was depending on the counter attacks through which he was able to score his first goal in the 19th minute by his Moroccan player Nacer Barazit. The match went on with the same result till the referee ended up the first half 1/0 for Aljazeera FC. The second half started with AL Dhafra First substitution by entering Khalid Butti instead of Shueib Alharbi and Suhail Almansoori instead of the injured Abdullah Alrefaey. AL Dhafra did many serious tries but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful while Aljazeera was trying to add another goal but also there were no serious chances. The 83rd minute witnessed AL Dhafra First yellow card for his player Amine Attochi who made a penalty which was implemented away from the goalkeeper's area. The last minute witnessed Aljazeera second goal by his player Leonardo after which the match was ended up 2/0 for Aljazeera. By this result, Aljazeera upgrades to the next round of the Arabian Gulf Cup while AL Dhafra depart the competition.
