The first half started quickly from both sides and Al Dhafra was trying hard to score the progress goal, so the players were pressing hard upon Dibba goal area but there was no change till the 24th minute came within which Al Dhafra was able to score the first goal by Abdullah Al Refaey from a header.

The match went on with this result till the referee ended up the first half 1/0 for Al Dhafra FC.
The second half started quickly from Dibba Al-Fujairah which was able to score the draw goal at the very beginning by Souza Silva in the 52nd minute.

The 60th minute of the match witnessed a dual substitution by entering Ismail Al Za'abi and Leonard Amesimeku in stead of Walid Ambar and Walid Karoui.
