About Football Company

Al Dhafra Football Company is the parent company from which the other companies branched out. The club’s origins lie in its pre-establishment phase as a training center for Al Jazira Club. Al Dhafra Football Company was officially founded in 2000 and subsequently participated in its first professional football league in the 2008/2009 season. Following this, Al Dhafra Football Company was established to manage, market, and develop the club’s professional football activities in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the UAE Pro League. The company’s activities within the club include the first team, youth teams, a football school, and the club’s own football academy.
