Al Dhafra and Oman’s Al Seeb have qualified for the final of the Liwa International Football Championship, which is being held at Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in Zayed City from December 6th to 9th. The tournament serves as a preparatory competition for the participating teams ahead of the remainder of the season.
Al Dhafra secured their place in the final by defeating Falcon FC 4-2 in the first match. Their striker, Zayed Al Ameri, scored two goals, while Brazilian players Rodrigo and Marcelinho each added one.
In the second match, Al Seeb overcame Bani Yas 3-2. Bani Yas put on a commendable performance, scoring two goals after Al Seeb had led 3-0 at halftime. The match also saw Al Seeb’s Mamadou Soudou receive a red card.
With these results, Al Dhafra and Al Seeb will face off in the final on Tuesday, December 9th, at Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in Zayed City.
