Croatian coach Alen Horvat, head coach of Al Dhafra, confirmed that the team has put its previous matches in the ADNOC Pro League behind it and is no longer thinking about past results, stressing that the focus is now firmly on the upcoming match.

He made the remarks during the pre-match press conference for Al Dhafra’s clash with Hatta in the fifth round of the ADNOC Pro League. The conference was held on Wednesday evening in the press conference room at Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in Zayed City, where the coach discussed the team’s preparations for the match alongside Moroccan striker Karim El Berkaoui.

Al Dhafra coach added that the team is currently focusing on the upcoming match and is preparing for it with great motivation and a strong spirit among the players, with the aim of securing a positive result.

Al Dhafra head coach also welcomed the return of striker Karim El Berkaoui, noting that his comeback provides a major attacking boost for the team, particularly as he was the club’s top scorer last season.

For his part, Moroccan striker Karim El Berkaoui expected the match against Hatta this Friday to be a difficult one, confirming that the team has completed its preparations for the game.

The Moroccan striker said that, despite losing their previous four league matches, his team had not been poor in terms of performance, explaining that what the team needs at this stage is to start getting results.

El Berkaoui called on the team’s supporters to continue backing and encouraging the players so that the team can return to winning ways.
