Al Dhafra and Al Seeb of Oman have advanced to the final of the Liwa International Football Championship, which is being held at Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in Zayed City from December 6 to 9. This tournament serves as a preparatory competition for the participating teams, gearing up for the remaining challenges of the season.

Al Dhafra’s qualification came at the expense of Falcon Club in the first match, where Al Dhafra won 4-2 after a strong performance. The team’s striker, Zayed Al Amri, scored two goals, along with one from Brazilian Rodrigo and another from his compatriot Marcelinho.

In the second match, Al Seeb of Oman defeated Bani Yas 3-2, following a commendable performance from the Bani Yas players, who managed to make a comeback by scoring two goals after the first half ended with Al Seeb leading 3-0. The match also saw a red card issued to Al Seeb’s player Mamadou Soudo by the referee.

With these results, Al Dhafra and Al Seeb will meet in the final of the tournament on Tuesday, December 9, at Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Stadium in Zayed City.
